Dr Raya is a dedicated General Practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience providing compassionate, patient-centred care. As a trusted Family GP, she is committed to supporting individuals and families through every stage of life, with a strong focus on preventative health, chronic disease management and continuity of care. She believes in taking the time to listen, understand each patient's individual needs and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Bangladesh in 2012, Dr Raya gained broad clinical experience across a variety of healthcare settings before relocating to Australia in 2019. She worked in hospitals throughout the Wide Bay region, developing valuable experience in multidisciplinary hospital care before transitioning into general practice four years ago. Her diverse clinical background enables her to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care across a wide range of medical conditions.

Dr Raya has particular interests in chronic disease management, mental health, children's health and women's health. She is passionate about delivering personalised healthcare that empowers patients to make informed decisions about their wellbeing. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, she stays up to date with current clinical guidelines and works closely with multidisciplinary teams whenever additional expertise is required to ensure coordinated, holistic care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Raya enjoys spending time with her family, reading and travelling.
